Have you ever considered that what you have been taught at the church or through religious lessons at school is in fact false? Have you ever considered that perhaps the Gospel could have been changed? Have you ever questioned that, since Jesus said the gate is narrow and ONLY few will find it, you can’t trust religious systems and mainstream Christianity anymore?
When you really think about it and examine the scripture, you start questioning religious systems and all Christian denominations. Because how come Christianity is the largest religion in the world with 2.3 billion people in the world, yet Jesus said the gate is narrow and only few will find it? If belief in Christ is enough, then that means all those 2.3 billion people will be saved. But is it enough and do we have the whole truth?
We know that Satan rules this world and he is trying to deceive as many people as possible. He doesn’t come in an obvious way however, so we need to be, as Jesus said “wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” Matthew 10:16
Now place yourself in the shoes of the enemy for a second. You are trying to deceive someone but you know you still have some time. Would you allow that person to know the whole truth from the start and then you come up with a lie at the end, just before your time is up? Or would you try to hide the truth from the start and allow them believe that they have the truth and then at the end, deceiving wouldn’t be as hard. Is it better to have a good lie at the end or perhaps confuse them from the start and not allow them to have the full truth? Really, think about it…
Now, let’s examine what Jesus said about being like little children:
“Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3-5
Why Jesus asked us to become like little children? Children are open to knowledge, they never claim they know everything, they are humble, curious and open to correction. Contrary to adults who always think they know everything, they know best and take offence when someone is trying to present them a new idea or to show them that perhaps they were in the wrong. And that is why, have you ever considered that the widespread and mainstream Christianity is actually wrong? That this is the wide gate that Jesus was talking about:
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7: 13-14
In both verses Jesus is calling us to reconsider. Become like children and search for the narrow gate. Don’t follow the masses, the systems and the mainstream. The gate is difficult to be found, therefore perhaps what you know so far is not right? We all know that a lot of ancient biblical texts have been hidden or changed. Satan would simply not allow for people to have the whole truth. And those that get to the truth and try to explain to others, people label as crazy, as heretics and blasphemers. That is Satan’s tactic. He creates chaos and confusion. He undermines the truth and allows for the lies to be out in the open. He kills the truth and promotes the lie. He changes good into bad and bad into good. He perverses God’s original design. That is why I always say – question everything, check the roots of everything, don’t accept it just because it has been widely accepted. Simply go back to basics.
With that in mind, let’s go back to the basics a little. In particular the Old Testament. Many people in mainstream Christianity, I say mainstream without focusing on particular denominations, because a lot of denominations have similar doctrines, think that Jesus fulfilled all prophecies from the Old Testament, therefore Old Testament is done and dusted or as some say “nailed to the cross”. We can read it to understand God, but let’s not focus on that. There is nothing new to be found there and besides, the Old Testament has been interpreted by the Apostle Paul, so let’s just focus on the New Testament and on the letters of the Apostle Paul in particular. This is modern Christianity.
I get frustrated with this thinking because there are so many prophecies yet to be fulfilled in the Old Testament and people mistake the promise of the New Covenant as that we are currently under that New Covenant. Without even considering that perhaps we are still under the Old Covenant and new covenant is a promise…future promise. And you probably think, well we have proof because Jesus said: “it is finished”. This however doesn’t mean everything from the Old Testament is finished. In Greek the word “finished” – tetelestai (τετέλεσται), signifies completion of a mission. And what was Jesus’ mission? Remember that we can’t add to what we think was his mission, we can only confirm what was in the scripture. Unfortunately majority of people add to the mission of Jesus by saying Jesus completed the Old Testament and fulfilled the prophecies. Let’s check what the scripture says:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4: 18-19
“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8
“ For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:17
“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10
From this we see major pillars of Jesus’ work: to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to free those that were captive, to open people’s eyes, to destroy the works of the devil and to save the world through Him. There is nothing about completing all prophecies, about completing the scripture or rewriting the old covenant. Therefore the fact that through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross we enter the new covenant and the Old Testament prophecies are being fulfilled is only according to men, not according to scripture. It’s essentially adding to the scripture. So the interpretation of – “it is finished” – means that his mission was completed, the mission that was mentioned in the scripture only.
What about the New Covenant? I am sure you will say that Jesus said “this cup is the new covenant, therefore the old is done. However did Jesus say anything about completing old covenant? or rewriting this covenant with the new?
Firstly we get this interpretation from Apostle Paul, who said in the book of Hebrews:
“For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.” Hebrews 8:7
“In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.” Hebrews 8:13
Paul has been teaching Gentiles that Jesus nailed it to the cross and made it obsolete. That we no longer are under the old covenant and no longer under the law. He is calling God’s covenant “faulty” – which is blasphemy! That there was a need to replace it and this is what Jesus did. Let’s have a look what Jesus actually said:
“Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.” Luke 22:20
“Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” Matthew 26: 27-29
This clearly shows that Jesus confirms his blood has been sacrificed for people for the remission of sins. The word “covenant” (Hebrew bĕriyth) or agreement, was often used in the ancient times and was directly linked to animal sacrifice, as the ritual of “cutting a covenant” which was signifying a binding agreement. This ceremony symbolized the parties’ commitment and the fate they wished upon themselves if the covenant was broken. Thus, making a sacrifice was an integral part of forming a covenant, with the term itself deriving from the act of “cutting” the flesh for the ceremony. This doesn’t mean that it was annulling the Old Covenant or replacing it completely, because it didn’t align with what God promised as a New Covenant:
“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” Jeremiah 31: 31-34
First of all, this covenant hasn’t happened yet as the house of Israel and the house of Judah are still separated and disobeying God through wars. The house of Judah which is current Palestine, is predominantly a Muslim country with 90% being Muslim, which means they are breaking God’s Law by worshiping other gods. They are not even aware of their roots and of their true God and God said: “No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ ” – they don’t know the Lord, so this covenant hasn’t happened yet.
The covenant Jesus made with his disciples was a promise that His blood cleanses all people and is the atonement for sins. No longer people have to make animal sacrifices and His blood annuls all animal sacrifices. But we still have to follow the Law, we still have unfulfilled prophecies and we still have to come back to the Old Testament and read about those promises with hope that it will come to pass soon.
“For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.” Ezekiel 36: 24-28
We are eagerly waiting for the Lord to gather Israel out of all countries and bring them into their land. This will be Lord’s doing, not men or politics. This is the future promise, however before that Israel will have to go through a lot of hardships and destruction… but this is not what I wanted to focus about here. I wanted to highlight that this is just an example of future prophecy to be fulfilled and there are more to come, therefore understanding that the Old Testament has been nailed to the cross is false.
The Law is another area where mainstream Christianity is so fiercely standing by that “it is finished”. By now I have hopefully presented that we are in fact still under the Old Covenant, therefore the Law is still standing strong. In fact, the Law is an everlasting = lasting forever – covenant and we will still continue following the Law in the new earth and new kingdom.
“And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” And God said to Abraham: “As for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations. This is My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: Every male child among you shall be circumcised; and you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between Me and you.” Genesis 17: 7-11
Also, this covenant was for all that wanted to follow God, which essentially means that they would be grafted in. It’s the same as if you are living in the UK but you decide to move to USA. You can insist on the law from UK and following that law in the USA. Once you have decided to move and you crossed the border, you are now under the law of USA. In the same way here on earth, we have God and Satan. If you decide to follow God, you have to obey God’s Law. If you want to stay under the rule of Satan – you are without the law and you can do whatever you want. But you can’s say – I follow God but I don’t follow God’s commandments, because John warned us:
“He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” 1 John 2:4
And the Law is for everyone, regardless if they are from Israel or not. Once someone decided to follow God, they would be under God’s Law:
“The community is to have the same rules for you and for the foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the foreigner shall be the same before the Lord: The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you.’” Numbers 15: 15-16
“The same law applies both to the native-born and to the foreigner residing among you.” Exodus 12:49
The “foreigner” here was essentially a Gentile that wasn’t under God’s covenant, yet he could have been grafted in or adopted only through following the rules. Moreover, we see in scripture that the law will continue in the new Kingdom of God:
“For as the new heavens and the new earth
Which I will make shall remain before Me,” says the Lord,
“So shall your descendants and your name remain.
And it shall come to pass
That from one New Moon to another,
And from one Sabbath to another,
All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the Lord.” Isiah 66: 22-23
“And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.” Zechariah 14:16
“Look to Me, and be saved,
All you ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:22
With that we can see the Law will continue with all the Sabbaths and all the feasts and the promises of God are yet to be fulfilled. That is why I just can’t understand why Christianity is based on the New Testament teachings excluding Old Testament and basing their understanding mainly from Apostle Paul’s teachings. This is another point that takes Christianity into the arms of the deceiver – through Apostle Paul.
The truth is Christianity is mainly based on the theology of the Apostle Paul, who wasn’t part of the original 12 disciples and never met Jesus. The legitimacy of the Apostle Paul is very questionable, which I explored in my different post. Essentially people believe Paul because, well he said so. Paul’s legitimacy does not hold any strong evidence apart from his own words and his supernatural conversion event, which had no witnesses’ testimonies. Regardless of that, Paul’s story was believed and accepted and his reputation grew significantly. Paul appointed himself as an Apostle to the Gentiles spreading the gospel, or rather “his gospel”, to people who didn’t know Torah or God. Interestingly, or rather unfortunately, Paul’s letters to Romans ended up being a foundational text of Christianity. One of the questions that always come to my head is – why Rome? Why focusing on a pagan location of people who crucified Jesus? Jesus was perceived as a threat to the Roman empire by clamming to be the King of the Jews. Why would Paul chose this particular location for his teachings? The only answer is that he was still working for the Roman empire.
The spread of the churches for the Gentiles and teachings of Paul have formed a new movement, a new religion that differed from the Jewish religion or Jewish followers of Christ called Nazarenes. Early Christ’s followers observed Torah and the Law, however Paul somehow interpreted that only Jews have to follow the Law, but Gentiles are different in the eyes of God. He separated what Jews have to do and what Gentiles have to do and focused his newly discovered teachings on Gentiles only. As you probably noticed, I like to question everything. Why Paul focused on Gentiles only?
In my opinion this was very strategic. Paul knew he wouldn’t be able to deceive Jews as they knew Torah very well, yet Gentiles were a new audience and quite naive with the lack of knowledge. Paul, as a well educated Pharisee – a religious group who in fact hated Jesus and crucified Jesus, who through deception and spreading of false interpretation could have prevented salvation for many. Nowadays we have all texts translated, we can compare them, we can look into various sources and over 86% of population is literate. “The global literacy rate for adults is over 86%, with more than 86% of the world’s population able to read and write as of 2025.” While during the times of Paul, literacy levels were as low as 3% – “Literacy rates during the time of the Apostle Paul were very low, with estimates suggesting only 3% of the population could read and write, though this varied by region and social class. Paul, however, was an exception, being a highly educated Pharisee who was fluent in Greek and had a strong command of written communication, which was a rarity in the first century.”
Literacy therefore was Paul’s advantage along with the knowledge of Torah. He could twist the scripture without many noticing this. One would ask – Why would he do that? We could suspect because of fame, ego, wanting to destroy followers of Christ, bitterness in his heart. Paul could have been knowingly or unknowingly, through his hatred and bitterness in his heart, led by the enemy. First of all, he saw Jesus as he said, in the spirit only. Second, he confirmed to be visited by the spirit of Satan to “buffet him”. And thirdly, on many occasions he showed his true colors and fruits of his spirit by asking Gentiles to follow and imitate him (not Jesus), to follow “his gospel”, he was comparing himself to an angel and Christ himself and most importantly, appointing himself to be an apostle to the Gentiles. He only announced it to the others and deceived “the elect” through signs and wonders. And God warns us in Proverbs:
“Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth;
A stranger, and not your own lips.” Proverbs 27:2
Paul was a walking contradiction to what Jesus was preaching. Contrary to what many people believe, he was rejected by many early Christians and by some of the disciples, especially John. Yes, Peter accepted him later, however even Jesus warned:
“For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” Matthew 24:24
And who were disciples if not the elect? Yes, Paul showed great signs and wonders by delivering others from demons, by showing false humility and by dying for Christ. So why did he die for Christ? Again – fame. He was so deep into the teachings, churches were growing and he knew he would have been leaving a legacy behind.
So why would God allow a false Apostle to teach or to even be included in the Bible? God said on many occasions in the Old Testament that he tests people to see who really loves him and who really listens to his words:
“Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not.” Exodus 16:4
“Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.” Exodus 20:20
“You shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.” Deuteronomy 13:3
Not everything Paul was teaching was a lie of course. A lot of it was truth wrapped in lies, but the problem is that if someone cannot discern, then they will learn a false gospel. And this is what exactly happened in Christianity. Paul’s theology was much more beneficial to the churches who grew to be what we now know as Catholicism. Paul was teaching that salvation is trough grace alone, that the Law is finished, that church is the bride, that people need to tide and pay to the churches, he was opposing marriages (that is why in Catholicism priests and nuns cannot marry), and he was against women teaching. He wanted to silence women. This hatred towards women echo’s what Satan was feeling towards Eve and what enmity God put between the woman and the serpent:
“And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;” Genesis 3:15
This might be controversial but I think Paul was serpent’s seed masquerading as light. But that would be for another post….
Satan’s tactics are cunning and very sleek. They look godly, they look pleasing to the eyes and ears and we have to be alert and sober minded to not fall into his traps. That is why it is so important to question everything, even what we think we already know. Become like little children, go back to the basics, unlearn to learn again. Think that religious systems are not your friend, that what is mainstream is not of God. Think that truth is always buried, rejected and destroyed. And that Satan is ruling on this earth, therefore you can’t expect that he will allow the truth to be accepted. He will create a counterfeit to that truth, send many perspectives to confuse people and what is behind the scenes and done quietly is what you need to pay attention to. Do not be deceived…
